Meet Dr. Kyle Emer

Dr. Kyle is dedicated to providing exceptional care while serving the community he is proud to call home. Born in Hilton Head, South Carolina, and raised in Smyrna, Georgia, Dr. Kyle has always valued the importance of building strong relationships and giving back to those around him.

His passion for science and healthcare led him to pursue both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Chemistry from Georgia State University. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Dental College of Georgia, where he further developed the clinical skills and knowledge that allow him to provide the best care for his patients. Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Kyle proudly served in the United States Army, an experience that strengthened his commitment to service and discipline.

Dr. Kyle is also an active member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is committed to staying current with the latest advancements and bringing those benefits directly to his patients. He enjoys getting to know his patients, helping them feel at ease, and working together to achieve their oral health goals. Through personalized care and honest communication, he aims to create lasting relationships and confident smiles. Outside of the office, Dr. Kyle is a devoted husband and father who values spending quality time with his wife and kids.

When he's not caring for patients, he enjoys golfing, spending time outdoors, and making lasting memories with his family.

Meet Dr. Matthew Slocum

Dr. Matthew was born and raised in Cartersville, Georgia. After graduating from Cartersville High School, he attended Georgia Tech where he earned his degree in Physics. He then went on to pursue his passion for dentistry at the Dental College of Georgia, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Dentistry has always been a family affair for Dr. Matthew coming from a family of dentists, including his mother, father, brother, and sister, he developed an appreciation for the profession at an early age.

He has followed in his family's footsteps to provide exceptional care for every patient. Dr. Slocum believes that dentistry is about more than treating teeth, it's about building lasting relationships. He is passionate about delivering patient centered care and strives to create a comfortable, welcoming environment for every patient he meets. His attention to detail, gentle approach, and dedication to excellence allow him to provide high-quality care while helping patients feel at ease throughout their treatment. Outside of the office, Dr. Matthew enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors.

His hobbies include riding motorcycles, both on the street and dirt bikes, playing tennis, mountain biking, and spending time with his four-legged best friend, Hudson. Dr. Matthew looks forward to helping you achieve your healthiest smile.
